Who are we? We began meeting together in January 2008. From November 30, 2008 until July 1, 2015 we met about 4 miles north of Ellsinore, MO. at what was known as the Union Hill Church for many years. Many folks in this area also know it as Crommertown. In June 2015 we obtained the property of what was the First Baptist Church in Ellsinore, MO. It was located at 3 S. Cane Street. In March 2020 we sold that property and began to make plans to build a new building. We are now occupying that building located at 249 Carter 265, Ellsinore, MO. I The Millers were on the mission field in Mexico from 1989-1991, and then again in 1996-1997. Mike was Associate Pastor in Virginia, and Pastor of a church here in Missouri since 1998. Before going to the mission field Bro. Mike worked in the bus, jail, and nursing home ministries for close to 10 years. God has deeply prepared our hearts and lives and led us into this work. We have a call and a duty to proclaim the way of the Lord clearly. We are burdened by the confusion of the Truth in our day, and the fact that many souls are being given a false hope. We are deeply burdened by the massive amount of "bad fruit" produced by the fundamental movement of the past 40-50 years, such as the multitude of youth that have grown up in fundamental churches but have forsaken God and are living for the world. We believe something is gravely wrong with the message and/or methods being used. Bad doctrine produces bad living and so we must conclude from all the evidence before us that something is wrong with the doctrine. We believe in preaching the "whole counsel of God." So we have chosen to seek the "old paths" and have a church where the way of the Lord is made straight and where we still worship without the music, the methods, and the atmosphere of the world.
